My boy cat brought in a rabbit this week. He gnawed it's head off & left the head & body at the bottom of the stairs with a little dead shrew for company. A few lovely morning treats for me, for sure!

Yes, that is what I am expecting, especially with the plethora of small rodents wandering around here. She already caught a vole in the house the other day! earning her keep

Unfortunately our girl cat brings them in alive & lets them go, so we have a fair few furries running around also!

I wish my patients made as little fuss about their gynaecological operations as girlcats do about their spayings.

LOL V-rap
She is remarkably unfussed, allthough she did decide, after looking at it with disdain, that the toy she was given as a bribe needed to be killed. It is well and truely pulled apart!

The vet gave her the toy, not me, she has enough toys already in my view and I think she agreed

16 is a very good age for a cat! I bet you miss him after 14 years. You get so attached to your animals, don't you?

Aw, poor MH & family. Never owned a cat but have lived with a few, they left pawprints in my heart. And I try to be a friend to all local cats whether they give me the time of day or not.
Glad we have a thread for feline musings. And hopefully a plethora of moggy pics. *watches*
