I think that reference was just to demonstrate that there are a lot of conflicting diet plans out there and some people will claim that they work better than anything else, just like LWS is doing with his particular drink.

I wonder whether he had to pay a lot to get distribution rights for this product. I hope not because the more I look at the few links I can find the more it sounds like a pyramid scheme.

Stumpy, as with most of your posts, you missed the point completely, the point I am making about David Haye was that there are millions of different theories on Diet related performance, some obviously right, some obviously ambiguous. I did not say that it improved my performance or got me back to running even in the slightest. Sugars, good point, tripped on this one, "artificial sweeteners" "added sweeteners", will that suffice.Nellers was right with his above comment, about conflicting diet plans, he is wrong about pyramid schemes, its not anything like that. It is a product, about to be launched in the UK, (hence no information available), and do not dare insult me by saying that I need to find the science behind this. Stumpy, as you are the only person to seriously poke at this product, you are also the only one in the industry, I put it to you that it is you who feels threatened commercially. I have plenty of sports research and science to back the product up, not something I wanted to bore anyone with. I only have one endorsement though. For about the 5th time and for the benefit of the tape, ITS THE BEST RECOVERY DRINK I HAVE EVER USED!!!!!

and also just to add, there is a wealth of information I could share, that would destroy most of your objections however there is a huge question of commercial sensitivity

LWS, I'd also like to see the science behind it and I work in insurance. I can't help thinking that if you're planning to sell this stuff, to stand up and promote it to members of the public, then you owe it to yourself to know what you are selli g and why. If not you are going to get blindsided by all sort of questions that your prospective customers are going to ask.

If you're relying on the sales of this stuff to make you rich, or even to make you some money, then you need to do your homework.

I am a doctor, with a reasonable grasp of science.
Feel free to bore me.

Nellers, thank you once again for you balanced and sensible opinion, i do need to draw your attention to my statement around commercial sensitivity. i know the product very well, however i have to bite my lip, particularly when i see that our discussion has climbed the google rankings. Trust me, the homeworks done, the machinery is in motion for this to be retailed nationally and I can stand up, along with anyone else that has tried it and say "its the best recovery drink I have ever used". I like you Nellers, and if i knew you personally as a friend I would say "try this buddy, it works". That was the aim of my opening statement. I joined fetch in 2005, everyone was a friend. 7 years later, the world has changed. its more aggressive and opinionated, which is good. My other objective was to find out what questions come from the running community. Quick question, shouldnt we all be out running?

As a newbie to Fetch and watching this thread, I think everybody has had a good point. LWS is of course trying to promote Mastic Blast which may benefit us all who run or work out and maybe looking for something that may make the recovery better/easier. I have seen this afternoon that on Mastic Blast facebook page they have posted an independent lab report of the antioxidant content in Mastic Blast and I know antioxidants are good for you. I think that we should message LWS on Mastic Blast Europe facebook page and follow up on his offer and ask for a sample. That way we can be our own judge.

The health benefits of anti-oxidants are far from proven despite their I reuse in advertising, and even the claimed benefits of anti-oxidants don't really suggest to me a recovery benefit.
