HapptG, on your list tallinn ticks all the boxes. Mycity hotel is 250m from start and the front door is at the end of the finishing funnel.

Berlin flight booked!

It looks like I'll spend longer getting to the airport to leave the country than I'll spend flying to Berlin!

Still, if all you can afford is Germanwings, you take what you get.

DeeGee - its well worth it .... there is an express train from the airport into central Berlin takes about 30 mins ..... I flew easyjet because I booked flights too late BUT logistically is quite simple. Marathon itself is a PB beater if you do the training. Course is flatter than keira Knightly on a warm day.
