Loving the video and well done to everyone! Minnie - I didn't do much better than you I'm afraid as I had to pull out at the second checkpoint. I'd started with a migraine and didn't fancy running another 18 miles with blurred vision and a strong desire to vomit!! Spent about quarter of an hour sheltering in the car of the race official at the checkpoint (who was brilliant), waiting for the minibus back to Howarth. The guy who was coming second in the half marathon (think whippet) had also had to pull out due to injury ..... so I was in good company
The official guy told me that there had been something like 60 non-starters and, I think, 5 pairs who failed to start which really surprised me. Thought the conditions were perfect yesterday - really clear for the views and lovely and wet with proper mud!
Oh well, here's to next year, when I'll shove some Migraleve in my bumbag

FRU (Keep the Faith)
Evenin all...
Bloody HOW dirty are my feet STILL.. that's 3 showers now and still got dirty toes! Eeewwwwww!
Streak was interesting today - 1.3 in the bag though...
Sad to hear about the falls and the migraine and the one's who didnt get to finish.. all I can say is it sounds to me like you were all very sensible with descisions... I am never running that mara again as I know I cant train to do it justice - it's hard work if you cant be on the terraine more regularly... I do hope your all recovered quickly and have a shot again next year though
I woke up very happy after re-hydrating on some finest Timothy Taylor and the left over rascals as me and H struggled to find any kind of food at 10pm in Howarth!
Had a ball meeting lot's of new people at the start and the bus team were amazing - huge thanks for giving me a kick up the pants at times and completing it with the bus gang will go down as a mara highlight for me...
Switt - great to see you and top to meet Mrs Poorly Feet - the medals were EXCELLENT and I'm once again in my t-shirt - well I bloody earnt the bugger!!
