Pikelet
I'm with Doc, hugs, waves, cheers and pep talks (along the lines of stop moaning and get this thing finished you loser!) may be required
Cog N - will try and spot you in the Blue start, what colours you wearing? I'll be in the pink/purple vest of Cancer Research UK (with Nicola across the front which is the name non fetchies know me by).
I think you only find out your pen number/start time when you collect your number. As Spideog says it depends on the predicted finish time you gave them on entry.

Hi Pikelet. Probably black vest by the look of the BBC weather. I'm collecting for a local charity CHESS Homeless and they don't have branded kit. I may get the vest printed myself so it will say CLIFF at the front.

I may see you at the post race recovery centre then Pikelet?
I'm hoping for sub 2.55 Baz but no idea if it's really on, sub 3 should be though - would be pleased to have the company.

Cliff is a nice unusual name, I shouldn't have to accost too many other Cliffs before I find you
I don't think I'll be going to the post race do LMH, my mate works for the RSPCA and they have a reception in a building at Horseguards Parade right at the finish. She's going to smuggle me in for a glass of prosecco

That's a shame Pikelet - I think the CRUK one is pretty close to the finish too.

I have a very common name -hence always having Gladrags on my vest so that I can hear my own support! Family tend to shout my surname to get my attention...
FWIW my lot tend to go to Westferry on the DLR - it's band in the middle of 2 sections of the course. Walk one way and you're near mile 15, walk back the other way and you're near mile 21. Both times on the left.
Assume they haven't published train times as the staggered starts mean that there are too many options to list this year?

The BBC weather forecast now stretch far enough ahead to cover marathon day now. I am not unhappy with the current forecast. If the wind was to drop a little I would be happier

site says 19 drinks stations, 13 x Buxton water (bottles) 5 x Lucozade sport ( normally give these a miss any way 2 x compo-stable cups with water 1 x Ooho sachet
I don't ever recall taking more than 4 possibly 5 drinks, invariably more ends up over my head than I drink.
Currently temperature looks to be a high of 16 at mid afternoon, hopefully it will be a little cooler, but it desn't look as though its going to be another scorcher.
