I've also booked on the January recce, but the May one clashes with Windermere ![]() |

Having issues trying to upload the route gpx onto Fetch at the moment, tells me its uploaded but doesn't then show up? I'll try again later or find another way of sharing it.

*boing* *squeeee* etc etc....... Well, it only took me just over 2 years to find some post BG race motivation, I may as well do it properly and not try and target a 5k eh? |

Here we go Ultra Tour de Matlock Bath: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-1490634 (minus the half mile to and from the house) There are a few bits where it could probably be refined a little and the route at the end of Crich Chase/Bilberry Wood is a bit vague at the moment (I nicked it from somewhere else and need to actually go and run it) but if you look at the OS map there is an obvious alternative by dropping to the canal. The climb comes up a bit less on Fetch than on Anquet (but still ~ 4500ft) so it will interesting to see what the altimeter says on an actual run. Start and finish options are endless (including both Matlock Bath and Belper stations). May well also devise an alternative heading more West/North West taking in the likes of Dovedale/Manifold Valley ![]() |

January recce? Might be tempted by that. Although almost bound to need yaktrax or similar for the high ground! We both know the course well now, and have all the roadbooks etc, so quite happy to lead some unofficial recces. Starting next Sunday?? |

We'd be up for the Ultra Tour de Matlock Bath, as well as some recce stuff flanker - with Dave's shift work it'd make the proper recce weekends night impossible to make.... was hoping you'd offer ![]() |

Long training runs in the Peak do cut down the cost of heading to the Lakes and Wales all the time. And maybe save some money on race entries.

Be keen to do some recce weekends. Keeps cost down and gives more flexibility. All you get on the official recce is a coach and some water, so as long as we have 2 cars we lose little. . Maybe do some of the 100 course to for some good training ![]() |
