Little Nemo - slightly broken
Right I think I shall see how much money I can accumulate for my birthday and then choose between the PoolMate or the Garmin depending on how much I get.
Cheers everyone

I wasn't denigrating the tech. Quite jealous, actually. It's just that with the. Amount of swimming I do I can't really justify the investment when I could spend it on a cheap stopwatch and some running kit or a race entry.;-)

That's a good point Nellers! As I haven't been running for ages I have saved loads of money by not entering races and not buying new kit. My new device will have practically paid for itself

Anyone upgraded to a swim watch and still got a working 'ring' type lap counter sitting in a draw doing nothing? (not for me, for my mum) happy to offer a few beer tokens in return.

As in one of those things you put on your thumb - swimmovate or whatever? Yes - you can have mine. Super-cool but of kit, never gets used.

Oooo excellent. Like a ring with a pressy button? My mum has been learning to swim crawl for the first time in her life and having taken a vvery long time to be able to complete a lap has suddenly got the hang of it and now is losing count! Excellent news. I'll fmail you Grep.
