I was considering a SUP, but they're some price. I just bought a Pyranha Surfjet sit-on-top for about half the price of a SUP. Hoping to get it on the water later this week.

For my canoe I've just got a couple of £25 "plastic fantastic" paddles, but _andy has a beautiful hand carved "beaver tail" (?) wooden paddle, which was a joy to use! G

Try pinging katypie, she's just got SUP for her family, I think. Might have been inflatable, not sure?

Those expensive paddles are just lovely. I remember being at the Scottish Canoe Show in Perth in about 2012 and having to be dragged away from the paddle stand!

I was going to have a chat with Jason up at Knockburn to see if he could get a good price (or sell me an ex-rental). I do like the idea of being able to uninflate (disinflate?) and carry it in the boot of the car.
