PSA from the High Ups: sand is just small gravel. Very small.
So small that it is not gravel, but sand. That is why it is called sand. Some of the finest sand is to be found at Weymouth which has a grain size of 0.15mm. If it was any smaller, it would be silt. Just as sand is not gravel, silt is not sand.
Gravel is made up of rounded fragments at least 2mm in diameter.
It would be wrong for the world cup to be decided on aggregate. Grass is a much better surface.

That’s an automatic yellow card, and we can’t rule out further unspecified sanctions in the future.

Only if you accumulate all the sand and gravel. Sort of heavy on aggregate.

I hope it doesn’t go to penalties. Makes me nervous.
