Now MrsS which roundabout? I had to laugh at the comments on fubar about the fact the A96 is so long. My immediate thought was Inverurie though.

Haha yes Pedro, I guessed Inverurie too, I grew up there and there is a Morrison’s near the roundabout on the bypass. They built it on fields where I remember patting a horse as a girl. When Inverurie was a third of the the size it is now!

I didn't realise your were from Inverurie! We moved there in 1978 when I was 5. Lived in Townhead Road then Nellfred Terrace. Townhead is now more like the middle of the town!
shanksi stayed in Meldrum. We both went to Inverurie Academy. One of my friends grew up at East Aquorthies farm, I had classmates in Old Rayne, Bourtie, Daviot, Pitcaple, Rothie, Oyne, Chapel etc.

I was only born there, we lived outside Meldrum for the first couple of years then over to just outside Ellon. Went to academy at Alford as we moved there when I was 11. We had friends who lived at Conglass farm, when we went there it was about a mile out of town, now it's on the outskirts!
