Morning all, going well so far today ![]() Rest of the week a bit of a write off tbh on the food front, exercise has improved though I had poached eggs for breakfast, lovely (we have our own chickens) 10 weeks is a great idea, but it feels like a very long time, i need to go ODAAT currently, though a target would help i'm sure |

Week 1/10 - +0.4kg I just focus on getting as many good habits in as I can each day, lammo. But I weigh weekly and want to see a difference over time! This week, I weighed a day early (Wednesday) and had lost 0.6kg. I went out for lunch with friends that day and gained 0.9kg yesterday, which is still showing this morning 🙄 So I'm up 0.4kg on last week. I've done all my gym sessions and planned runs, I'm drinking plenty and sleeping better. The only thing left is to reduce the calories. So this week I'm dropping to 1300 calories to see if that shakes things up a bit. I'm made up a new menu plan, still with 4 meals a day, but I've cut 100 calories off one of the meals. It was fine yesterday and I wasn't hungry and I've managed to keep the protein levels up. |

Well today has been a big success on the eating front with no snacks at all, and three good meals. Activity wasn’t bad either. Bring on tomorrow |

Well done, lammo. The habit is building and getting stronger ![]() Protein powder, puddings and bars help on days when I've not quite got enough, but I have Greek yoghurt on cereal for breakfast and chicken for lunch most days and that gives a big protein hit. I'm still eating 4 x a day, but have cut the calories in one of the meals down from 400 to 300, just for a week or two. I've also stopped having so many cups of tea; I have sugar in tea and that would be adding a fair bit to the daily calories - no more than 2 cups a day for now. Lesson learnt! |

Lammo those days are building up ![]() GimmeMedals Hubby drinks lots of coffee and hot chocolate and he is a 2 sugar per cup sort of chap so we are reducing it 4 cups a day. It is the little things that can make a difference.I am lucky I drink black coffee and no sugar. I have clif bar and dairy free yoghurt most days not as much protein but it helps.I have same breakfast and eggs for lunch although I do need a break as 2 Duck eggs can make you a little fed up at times. For a change i had 2 mini croissants can not remember when I last had any and was a nice change but have a feeling i will play catch up on protein through the day. What do you use protein powder in? I have some nut powder which is similar but not used it as yet. |

I have one of the following, Wp: Stir into cooked porridge Add to Greek yoghurt (plus some water as it gets thick) and serve with fruit (tinned or fresh pineapple or peaches work well) Smoothies Protein shake - just add water or skimmed milk Protein mug cake - there are recipes on the internet PhSmart protein powder has a recipe for protein mousse on the bag, which is basically 1 scoop of powder added to about 80ml of water then whisk it well. I’ve not tried this though |
