Welshpoppy you’re on a roll! Whatever you’re doing seems to be working - well done! Morning Ness, nice to see you here. Now that you’re slowly building up the running again I’m sure it won’t be long before the weight returns to normal. GimmeMedals, you’re doing well with the exercising. You know as well as anyone that it’s a case of plodding away at it and not being too obsessed by the numbers. It’ll happen - look at where you started! You can do it! I’ve weighed this morning. I’ve lost a measly 5lbs since we came away on 1st January. Nothing for the last 3 weeks so I’m making a concerted effort for the final 2 weeks of Spanish sunshine. I’m mainly focusing on calories but will have a good walk every day and consciously consume water. |

Alice well done on 5lbs not to be sniffed at.👍🙂 I have found you can not out run a bad diet as in get the food numbers right and it will shift.Exercise helps but in a limited way. Sadly I always thought it was the exercise but it seems not. I had to go from 1800 cals a day to 1300 it is hard but worth the effort. |

Thank you! I had been sticking strictly to around 1400 calories but it all started to slip when GM arrived (I’m not blaming her!) and I’ve not reeled it back in since she left…. Until today, of course! Back to 1400 as of now. |

For every decision you make today, Alice the Camel, ask yourself “Will this get me closer to my goal?”

I like that question it really is a good one. PT session today and getting g back in the groove so things going well.G is weighing me as well-it's linked to phone and in kilos so just a number to me.But he can see the loss for himself in relation to my strength. |

It's reassuring that your PT can see the difference, Wp. It's taken me a loooong time to get the hang of kgs! I think for the first year that I was weighing in kg, it really meant nothing. In some ways, that made losing weight easier as I had no idea how many stones and lbs it equated to. As long as the numbers kept going down, I was happy.

That is the way I think the number is going down so all is good and he is pleased it is just a lb a week.I have not got a clue and off course I am fully clothed not like at home weighing. As long as his scales match mine all is well.
