That's good. Means there's less trying to get through at once.

duchess you will get parked in one of the multi storeys, last year for 10k and half marathon the daily parking charge was only £2 because it was Sunday. There is a bus service picks up at George Square, takes you to the start and then they ferry you back afterwards too, its the most civilised race I know of for that! No baggage area that I know of but I had people watching me who were able to take my stuff. Nobody checked you were in the right colour of starting area so go where you like, there were all colours of numbers in the one I was in and a whole lot of people had under estimated their finishing times because I was going past faster colour numbers than me right to the end so I honestly don't think it makes a hoot of difference what you have said so long as we don't start in the first two elite pens:)

Im really looking forward to doing this race. It will be my first 10k ever. I am running with a couple of friends but just taking it easy. It is gonna be my measureing stick for the rest of the year as I plan to enter a few 10k's throughout the year and hope to improve my times .

I got my race pack today too. I signed up ages ago and turns out I was a little bit optimistic with my predicted finish time! Lol.

I've got mine now too but will definitely be wearing my Fetch vest since I asked for a medium t-shirt and they have sent me super-huge, I couldn't run in it, I'd trip over it:)

LOL jacs,

I'm not sure whether to wear pink shirt or fetch yet. The size worked out well for me. I ordered Large thinking I would be a stone lighter by now. Alas I'm not but the generous sizing of the shirt has helped me.
