Senior Moment: I realised I have fibbed. Star Wars Neverending Story The Goonies The Greatest Showman (yet) It would be easier to list what I have seen. Also a deprived child. I first saw the Sound of Music (not Mary Poppins) at 18. |

I've seen just about all of those blockbusters (i.e. the Star Wars / LOTR / HP etc ones). Never seen any of A Star is Born versions, plenty of the Hitchcock classics, most horror classics etc. Of the top grossing films in the UK on en.wikipedia.org it's only the Pirates of the Caribbean that I don't recall seeing, though tbh it's probably been on the background as I might have recorded it for the kids at some point. |

Back when there was fields around here I used to have a 1 or 2 DVDs per month subscription with LoveFilm. You had to set up your account by ticking films that you wanted to receive. If they were available when you were due another DVD then it was sent out to you. I ticked all the well known films or classics I'd never seen. It was always fun to see what arrived in the post each month. I saw some great films I would never have otherwise seen. Admittedly, I also saw some stinkers that I never want to see again..! I still haven't seen West Side Story - one for the future maybe. |

I'm amazed at how many people haven't seen Star Wars (or any of its sequels or prequels), I thought I was the only one. Also, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Mama Mia or the Lion King. These are NOT on my list to see at a later date. Call me blinkered, you might well be right but you couldn't pay me to watch any of them.

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
You've got some great stuff to look forward to their VP. I've seen all except Rashomon and Tokyo City (*goes to Google...) All of them are great. Except Rambo. Which is classic of its genre, but just not my sort of genre. Sailor Steve - no disrespect, but did you grow up on a desert island? Or in some kind of very healthy, active, outdoorsy sort of commune of some sort?! How could you have *avoided* ever seeing all of those?! G |

Happy, it's easy. We had a small B&W TV, no video player, and no money for cinema. My parents took us to a few classic Disney cartoons - Lady and the Tramp etc. Grandparents' colour TV only went on for the Queens speech.
