Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yeah, it was good to meet a Fetch Mob :) I don't want a dog. I'll have a balloon and a pack of cards though, instead ;)

Was a really great first parkrun! Great turnout helped massively by the sikh community.

Ive turned into a bit of a parkrun freak now after the weekend..so much so I have set up www.theparkrunforum.com , if anyone fancies popping their heads in that'd be nice!! not many users at the moment but it only went "live" yesterday.

Forum looks great!

You going to join us for coffee next week? :)

The suppport from the Sikh community was fab, great to see so many runners, not to mention the water offer on every lap, and the full fat coke offered on the finish line! Really hope the turnout is just as good next week.

Join the Tiggia, you know you want to, everyone a bit quiet at the mo though...waiting for a few chatterboxes and im sure it'll kick off.

When did you get offered water on every lap? I must have been flying and not noticed! ;-) I finished in 29:59!! haha, so chuffed with sub 30. 5K PB is 26:24 though so a bit of woork to get back to my best. I think some of the turnout may drop, but judging from the little speeches at the beginning it sounds like a decent turnout and add to the fact pretty poor advertising it was great.

I got in touch with the examiner last week, did they put anything in today about parkrun?
