One cinema observation having not been for years. Why are people going to the Loo so much?
Some people on my row must have gone two times, wonder if it’s because the cinema is one of those that sells you a pint of beer beforehand. They were all quite young people too, younger than 40 anyway.
Also I couldn’t deal with how hot and dry the air in the cinema was, it was like being on a plane. Shorts next time for comfort.

I went to a Vue cinema yesterday and it was really chilly. Good film though (Oppenheimer).

We watched Logan Lucky and added the other recommendations to the list. T’was fine for a Sunday night - quite light but gently funny. Thanks o wise owls of this thread.
Awful to hear your stories about annoying film-goers. I’ve plan to go more in the winter, so will choose my cinemas and times wisely. I’ve noticed a marked lack of respect for other people post-lockdowns and generally in my locality which has become “gentrified” and suddenly swarmed with more people. I put gentrified in inverted commas; because housing is crazy prices, places become trendy; but they’re still full of dog shit and fly-tipping.
