My right quad is very sore - I don't recall injuring it at all, and can only imagine it's down to the one legged squats I was doing with my PT on Monday. Left quad is fine. It's particularly sore down near the knee on the inside, and a patch on the outside, middle of my thigh.
I have a 20 mile run planned this evening as I am away for a long weekend from tomorrow and won't be able to do it. Would I be completely stupid to run 20 miles on a sore quad? Or would I be a wimp for not running 20 miles on a sore quad?

no, I would say that putting 20 miles onto an injury is asking for trouble.

Thanks. I thought as much. Drat.
How can it be an injusry if I didn't hurt it though? Could it just be tightness? Pah.
I'm going to walk home instead I think, assuming walking is OK.

Footpad
Get a massage on it and see how it goes for the weekend. If no pain then can run.

I'll just have to foam roll tonight - I'm away for the weekend in Istanbul, not sure I want a full-on Turkish massage on it!

it might just be a tightness but it will turn into an injury if you do 20 miles on it
Now behave;)

OK, I will be sensible. How boring!
It's a 5 mile walk home, I'll be gentle and wander slowly...
