sore quad?

ive not ran for 11 days as ive had a soreness in my quad its middle to inner quad in the middle but some days its sore from hip then others above knee to middle of quad.When I had a sports massage he said there is nothing wrong with it im just fatigued?Ive not ran for 11 days so tried a six today but it was sore and uncomfortable and now im back to how I was 11 days ago.Does anyone know what is wrong? when I had massage he said my I t band was abit inflamed but it shouldn't affect my running and its not the outer thigh its inner
