I always said I'd do London if I got a champs start qualifying time, and I think I've got to do it once at some point. But Manchester was so good this year.  I'll be waiting to see the date first though.

davie - if I were you I'd take the first opportunity I got to run from the Champs start, as you never know whether you'll get the chance again.
Premier League football fixtures are released on 18th June, so I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait until early July (at the earliest) for the date to be confirmed.

I did VLM this year, and although I've entered the ballot for 2015 I wanted to know what my plans were rather than wait to be told. So I've signed up. I know the date is uncertain but I'm not concerned about that. The only concern is if by miracle of miracles I get a VLM place and have to decide between them or to do both. Cross that bridge as and when.

Hmm, with Edinburgh moving to the weekend after half term for 2015, I might have to take a look at this instead. Our first matrimonial home was in Sale Moor, and I was temping in Trafford council's planning department for a bit, so there will be plenty of memories to stir up on the route.

Damn, I didn't realise the price increase was the end of May I thought it was the end of June. Oh well, now there is no rush to get my entry in until the end of September.

My money is on Greater Manchester marathon being on 19th April '15, thus avoiding both Brighton and London.
