There is no mention of mechanics or anything on the website like at most events. Is there a plan for one to be there? I can fix a puncture (eventually) but if anything else goes wrong I'll be pretty screwed.

Does anyone know how many water stops there are going to be each day on the 26 mile walk/run route? Just wondering if camelbak needed...

Day 2 run goes within 100 yards of my house at about 16.5 miles. Unfortunately I'll be out on the bike ride, but if disaster strikes on day 1 I shall come and offer 'encouragement'. Good luck with the hills!

Woefully unprepared for this - holiday, sickness and far too much work have left me less fit than at any time in the last four years. Managed two middle distance tris is year, but they are a distant memory now. Only consolation is that the other half is, he won't mind me saying, even less ready. Cut off times? - don't make me laugh! Still looking forward to it :)

Yay Hayley! Join the club, I think I could have written that entire post. Well apart from the husband bit!
We can be the slowest Peleton in cycling history!
Are you cyclists planning on setting off at 7am? I'm not camping so rocking up on the morning. Would be good to start together no matter how the day goes!

Also what are cyclists doing about water? I think I need more than 2 bottles but cant decide between behind saddle extra 2 bottles or camelbak. Hmmmm.....
Am I right in thinking there is only 1 official feed stop per day?

I'm just taking 2 bottles and as it seems there is only 1 water stop a day might need to stop at a shop or something. Not taking a camelbak as I've had a bad neck.

Deffo starting at 7- only chance for me of making the cutoffs!!!!!

And worried about what happens if my chain goes bang or something. Basically, I'm worried about everything!!
