As I said earlier, you'll do fine. I'm watching this closely as I'm thinking of running it next year. That cycling lark is too much like hard work.

think I might end up walking this, I only had 5 weeks to train and I have been floored by an ear infection still, with such a generous cut off time I could hobble it and still manage to finish in time.

Might be with you Red Tomato. Suffering with the dreaded PF at the minute so only ran 10 mile in total this week. So it's definately walk/run for me.

getting excited .. the routes look fantastic. Will probably be doing a day commute, but the idea of camping and partaking in the craic is tempting ... I just might not have a bed to go home to at the end of the week.

Iv only managed a 4 miler tues, 6 miler fri eve & even then it was nursing my left hamstring...may have to revert to plan B...all bike !

Just entered the 4 x marathons option on a whim. I think this one will bring me down to earth with a bang. On the plus side if I manage them all it will be my 99th marathon.
