Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's a lot of cycling for a rugby shirt. Have you thought of taking up running? ;-)

As I said earlier, you'll do fine. I'm watching this closely as I'm thinking of running it next year. That cycling lark is too much like hard work.

think I might end up walking this, I only had 5 weeks to train and I have been floored by an ear infection :-( still, with such a generous cut off time I could hobble it and still manage to finish in time.

Might be with you Red Tomato. Suffering with the dreaded PF at the minute so only ran 10 mile in total this week. So it's definately walk/run for me.

getting excited .. the routes look fantastic. Will probably be doing a day commute, but the idea of camping and partaking in the craic is tempting ... I just might not have a bed to go home to at the end of the week.

Just entered the 4 x marathons option on a whim. I think this one will bring me down to earth with a bang.
On the plus side if I manage them all it will be my 99th marathon.
