Perfect weather for a 26 mile +, day 2 of G B C reccy ride on M B , Fantastic route, very scenic with mostly multi terrain tracks & paths.

Thanks to Mudlark, yes :-) and I have made my decision- in reality I only have 5 weeks to train so I can only concentrate on one discipline, so 4 marathons it is

can't wait :-)

No Speed work RT,just concentrate on miles ,with ample recoverys.

I will be plodding so I guess speedwork not necessary, do I read your post to mile muncher earlier to do say a long run on the saturday then half the distance on the sunday? I thought I could build up to 10 on one day then 20 on the next and vice versa.

I'd do the 10 then the 20 RT rather than the other way round. What long runs have you been doing recently?
