tbh, I've been dithering about it for ages and I know deep down I'm not really fit enough and with a holiday in Spain next week I'm unlikely to get into shape. I think really even at £60 quid for the 4 days it's still good value, just the other half doesn't understand these things!

I remember the small hill on the Bury 20 a couple of years back!..........we both made it to the top without walking ...somehow? :) hope its not 4 of them!!!! :-O

wouldn't have thought this would go through Hartest but there is a 10% hill at ousden which isn't too far away!

10%ers? I didn't sign up for that! ;)

Starting to think bike logistics for this now. What to do about drinks? Normally ride with up to 2 big bottles. I do have a behind the seat thingy I could attach meaning I could take 4 bottles, but also have a camelbac. Although I've never used the camelbac for cycling and not sure I want it on my back all day every day. obviously buying drink on route is possible, but trying to keep cost to minimum.

There are Stragetic stop along they way on Run & Bike routes,so you can top up on the way !

If your Biking then theres food / drink / toilets at 30 - 60 -90 mile points & runners will have water points around courses & food if the case need be .Im will make use of the bike ones as im doing 2 Bike & 2 Run over the four days but the 2 runs i will take gels & eat later once finnished that day.(carbs )

Brilliant. At these points do we have to pay for drink? Ie are they pubs/shops.
