I'm at 24. Was 28 a couple years ago but got down to 23 (drifted up to 24 by not playing well in the few comps I'm managing to play). I reckon I can get to 18 with just a bit of course management and consistency as I hit the ball fairly well. Just make too many mistakes.

I'm fat whether I'm running or golfing :)

I dropped from 21 to 16.5 and the main thing was stopping the three of the tee, and just sorting my terrible short game out.

Keeping ego in check is a big part...nowt feels as good as hitting a booming drive, but probably means the least :)

I started when I was 13 years old. It took me less than 3 years to get down to 3. Never got any lower despite the advances in technology!!!

U - check my earlier posts....no way!! I'd rather take a chance at chasing your shadow than heading on to a golf course!!

Still love golf banter though. Nothing like reliving all those shots of old. They get greater as the years pass.

Three of the tee was actually my biggest issue this past weekend. Just didn't seem to have my timing right. I actually planned on keeping my driver in the bag but had to pull it out as I wasn't even hitting safe shots with the irons. Had a good par (birdie lipped out) on the last though to remind me the game is easy if you take your time. My issues are all in the head.

WW- That's a great level to have got to :)

I did that for a while El, but then realised I could still spoon a 9 iron off the tee, so may as well go for the bigger face!

Playing on Saturday and can't wait, much more relaxed playing now I'm not a member, easy to remember the good ones and forget the bad ones, was the opposite before.

Enjoy! I won't be playing for a couple weeks as away with work but will no doubt watch loads of YouTube videos in my hotel room which should help my game but won't! :)

PGA championship starts tomorrow. Are we going to get our 4th first time major winner of the year? Or are one of the so-called "big 3" (from last year anyway) going to step up? I'm thinking another first timer - maybe finally Sergio's year!

that's completely taken me by surprise, I assume it's earlier this year to accommodate the Olympics.

I'd love it to be Sergio, just love it. His time has passed though, hasn't it? A bit like Westwood's. His major disintegration this year has been phenomenal!

DJ. Again.....
