Never been to a music festival- the crowds would fear me . Just watching it now thinking how dark it is compared to up here.

Glasto looks overwhelming. Not to mention over priced. T In The Park was enough for me. And I didn’t even camp. I like a comfy bed and a shower in the morning!

Total envy, yes.
I've been six times, 2008-11, 2016-17 and loved it. First two years I went in a borrowed camper van, then overcame my dislike of camping.
It wasn't even hard to get a ticket in 2008, pretty sure I only decided to go in April. That was before blanket BBC coverage turned it into one of the things people feel they must "do."

I think all the people I’d like to see headlining at Glastonbury have already done so, and won’t do again: Bowie, Springsteen, Blur to name but three.

Psst - I saw Blur headlining Reading - about 2003ish. They were rather jolly good.

Wouldn't have minded seeing Blur live.

Back in the mid-80s a bunch of older mates went, back when you could gatecrash by crawling through one of the many holes in the hedge. It never floated my boat.
