Yes but your better half cannot shut out any squeak from the nursery. You can focus on the task in hand (so to speak) but she can't. Instant distraction.

Good point DG.
I asked my wife tonight whether she thinks our friends hug/hold hands as much as they used to. She thought about it a mo but agrees - she doesn't think they are particularly intimate at all. Sad innit.
Confession time: I haven't told my wife I started this thread: she might think I'm telling tales out of school. I *don't think* the people in question are Fetchies. :-\ I really hope they aren't.

Caterpillar - my kids are now 17 and 14. Counting back, I think I must've blanked out the years from 1995 to about 2001. We clearly must have had sex at least once in those years otherwise we wouldn't have had a second child, but I can't really recall.
Staying together as a couple through the infancy years is an achievement that should be rewarded with medals and trophies IMHO.
'We' above refers to me and Mrs McG not me and caterpillar BTW
