That's something. One of our local venues opened again at the weekend.

Kendal Calling cancelled for second year on the trot. bbc.co.uk Due to lack of government guidance. "Promoter Andy Smith said a delay in publishing research from national pilot events had made planning impossible." also: "Dizzee Rascal had been due to perform, along with The Kooks, Frank Turner, The Slow Readers Club and Scouting For Girls" Jesus, haven't people suffered enough without inflicting Scouting For Girls on them as well? |

Nobody deserves Scouting for girls, apart from fans of the Wombats as they are essentially the same thing.

The next thing on my peg board of postponements and cancellations is coming up again soonish. Mew in London on Sept 4th performing their fourth album (And The Glass Handed Kites) in full at the Royal Festival Hall. It's already been put back twice. Will a Danish band even be allowed in the UK in Sept? The day before the London gig they're supposed to be performing in Denmark and in the days before that in Finland and Norway. I can't see this happening but I would love to see them live, especially performing what is one of my favourite albums of all time. Also, what TF have they got against Sweden? |

Billy is due to see a Pom Poko (Norwegian - v good) in London in Sept. He was also supposed to see them in Hamburg. The Hamburg gig is already cancelled. We'll see about the London one. As you say, won't they have to quarantine?

The wrong take-away from this I know, but: Nottingham has an arboretum?

So, proper question, how did they arrange this? Was it sit/stand where you like or did they have designated spots. I suppose being outside it gives a bit more leeway for distancing etc.
