I saw the support rapper/hip hop/nutter at the Julian Casablancas gig, come into the very sparse audience, climb up the wall then jump into the litter bin. Probably because he didn't have enough people to crowd surf.

That would be Big Jeff who is famous on 6 music. Big autistic lad who goes to every gig in Bristol and stands on the barrier, even if there are only 6 people at the gig. He was at Notts Bodega on Thursday and he’s been following John around for IVW.
There is a crowd fund going at the moment to send him to SXSW.

Saw The Interrupters/Skints/Buster Shuffle last Monday at the Tramshed, excellent night.
Buster Shuffle we’re entirely new to me, kind of Madness meets Chas & Dave with some ska/punk vibe thrown in. It works superbly, going to see them again in April.
Last saw The Skints in 2011 supporting Reel Big Fish. They were awful that night but were brilliant last Monday.
The Interrupters were incredible, one of my top ever gigs.
Next up The Levellers in Brecon.
