Hello, I'm thinking of running this and have a couple if questions... Does it need navigation skills? I'm not that used to off road and my navigation is useless. I'll be slow so far back in the field- am I likely to get lost? Also, I'm assuming trail shoes are best? I've never done that many miles at once in mine, aim to try to get a few longer runs in in them, as I'm thinking road shoes may not be a great idea? Thank you |

CS - the route was pretty well marked from what I remember, and yes trail shoes are best.

CS, you won't need navigation skills, and trail shoes are definitely advisable.

By the way, you'll love it. I'm doing it again this year.
