Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ok, I've run through the instructions by NE. It seems to be working now. The test will be when I try to upload data after my next run....

Deleted off the actual device, or deleted as in "not uploaded to Garmin Connect" ??

Deleted on the device like it never existed. The previous runs I did last week are still on there.

It did this when I tried to first get it talking to the PC last week as well.

Hmmm, strange. I wonder, is there a "delete after upload" setting somewhere? Could it have been inadvertantly turned on?

Did you find the run in Garmin Connect, or has it completely gone?

No, I've made sure the "Erase after Upload" option is off. The run has completely gone - it didn't upload to GC.

Hmmm. Dunno. Try it again after a short test run.

Sounds familiar. My 310 used to do this regularly when it got itself in a knot.

Did you try and download it before resetting the run?

I found the secret was to reset after the run and then always have it turned on when starting the download.

You may find you need to do a factory reset on the 310 because this usually means that it has a data store corruption and is apt to recur.

I think you press and hold the mode and power buttons at the same time. Here:
