Can I give one tip before you all watch the latest episode? Make sure you're watching it with nothing reflecting off the TV. It's all set at night, poorly lit and a bugger to see anything at the best of times. As for the episode itself? My lips are sealed until tomorrow.

I got up in time to watch before work.
Agree with the dark comment.
Wow, the most incredible 90 mins of tv ever.
I sobbed several times.
Avoid social media especially Twitter, there’s a key clip going round.

I got up and watched it before work. Agreeing about the viewing thing. Visually quite dark.
Don’t get that this made up for e1 and e2. Nothin wrong with them at all. E2 was one of my favourites. Surely it was the character moments that make us care who lives and dies. Without stuff like those episodes it’s just special effects and fight choreography. This show is telling stories.

Seen a fair few comments that the whole battle and especially the ending were a cop out and disappointing. It people were expecting the Night King to be there until the finale. Some people are never happy.
I have to admit I thought there was going to be a cliffhanger

I'd hope that anyone who hasn't seen it yet would have the sense not to log on to this thread until they had. It is rather dark, and i couldn't decide who people were in some scenes - i still don't really know who got killed apart from the obvious ones.
Looking forward to watching it again, without the heart palpitations and tears this time.
