I'm looking forward to this - I did a proper 4 minute PB last year without really putting a whole lot of effort in so I'm hoping to do the same this year :)
It was a gorgeous day last year - cold and sunny, which made the course affa bonny. It's a strange part of the world where there aren't many trees - I can imagine it would be a total battle if the weather was nasty though.

got to agree - nice day last year but I bet it's a hard course on a bad day.

Lots of nice grass to lie down on after the finish line!

I've not run it in bad weather yet, if anything it's been too hot which is strange for Fraserburgh in November.

agree about the grass OC, I've collapsed onto it every time!

jimmy savile *shudder* I stayed up to watch that show last night & I wish I hadn't

rwr - go for it!

I reckon there's a good 5 mins to come off my Stonehaven time at Fraserburgh. CS and I were planning on pacing each other to try and hit 1:55 I think, but our planned tandem training hasn't really happened - I'm sure if we work together it will happen :)
Are you running tonight Vicki? I'm down in Stoney and would love to join you for a catch up?

I don't think I'm gonna be in 1:55 shape RWR :( have picked up some new kind of injury and it's limiting my training

Home town race, I'll be there. Hoping for a decent time. Sub 1:45 would be nice, but may be pushing it for that.

The course looks very similar to the 10k course, with an extra bit in the middle.
