Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

With a begrudged acknowledgement he's doing a better job than Dyche :-) It'll never last though !

haha - as fans we have some weird prejudices at time.

I never liked neil lennon as a player, didnt want him as manager, but he did well for a spell before it all fell apart. Some Hibs fans want him back whenever the job is available and forget the absolute basket case he became at the end of his tenure.

I nearly said Steve McClaren but his brief successes were all more than a decade ago.

Erm, tin hat on, Gareth Southgate?!

Parky also somehow managed a cup final for us. And the first promotion (and been no since) in nearly 15 years. Again both were more than a decade ago now. Five years of relative success against a background of mismanagement and ruinous 25 years.

Parky has had a fine career Paul, just get bored of the noise around Wrexham!

Looks like York have sold 800+ tickets for Tuesday night's trip to Barnet. 4 hours away, no trains back, you'd have to be mad to go. Can't wait ;)

That’s a good number to go down Stuart. I would have liked to go but can’t get the time off, we are severely busy and low on bodies at the moment. Should be a good game that will probably go a long way towards promotion for the winner.

I fear the noise about Wrexham is only going to get worse.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
