In years gone by, that would probably have been at Highbury. I would still prefer the semi-finals to be at a club ground to make the final more special for players and fans alike.
Conor Gallagher would be eligible to play for Palace against Chelsea. That would be quite interesting unless Chelsea were to recall him just to stop that from happening.

He’s not eligible to play. FA rules say that a loanee can’t play against the lending club. The good news is that he will be able to play in the final.

If sanctions are still in force, no Chelsea fans? Are there enough Palace fans to fill Wembley, or should they move the tie to Brisbane Road? 😉

Dio, the rule does not apply to domestic cups - just the league. Gallagher would only be illegible if he had already played for Chelsea or another club in this year's competition.

Gallagher is doubly ruled out. The cup rules say a player can’t play against the parent club, the loan agreement between Chelsea and Palace says he can’t play against Chelsea.
