Christ FR, you must be climbing the walls if you have opted to watch a German league match with no fans.

My eldest is in raptures that there is actual live football on. He watched both of the live matches yesterday and keeps trying to tell me how exciting it is and what good quality the matches were.
Honestly, he might be right but 2 teams I don't care about in a league I don't follow? Not really interested. Also I give it 2 weeks before there's enough of a spike in cases in Germany and they have to call it off again.

That’s my take TR, I’m not invested in the teams, I don’t even dislike any of them.

I was in a similar situation to Nellers. My second son is not allowed out of the house due to his medicial condition so he had on both the Dortmund v Schalke and the Frankfurt v Munchengladbach.
I watched the majority of the first match and about fifty minutes of the second.
As I can enjoy the technical aspects (or not of the Schalke keeper, he was almost in Bravo class with Joe Hart kicking ability) it was okay. Not the 'real' deal but sufficient during what ever phase of lockdown we are currently in. With bumbling Boris at the helm I'm never really sure what the message is today.

And for some strange reason I like Bayern, so will watch that game tonight.
I really want to go to the Allianz Stadium when this shit is all over.

Football without fans is nothing. I did not watch any of it but I know it will have been totally devoid of any atmosphere and probably like watching a training match

It's not even the lack of fans. At one point yesterday one team was beating another team and I asked what that did to their league positions, like did the result matter? Who was the favourite? My lad, who was genuinely enjoying the game and fair play to him for that, hadn't got a clue.
SO he's effectively watching an exhibition match. Some nice skills and moves and all that but ultimately pointless. And each to their own and if that works for him, or for you, I'm fine with that. I'm just not bothered by it.
Like Joopsy I don't even have german teams I'd shout against.

At this point in time, I'm not even sure I'll start watching domestic games again when they're back on.
At the start of it all I missed the regular Saturday routine of watching the scores come in down the local but I honestly don't notice it's not on anymore other than from the lack of income from my sky bet account.
