United are under-rated. Get Smalling back in the summer. Pair him up with Maguire, that's the defence sorted. Perhaps a midfielder, either Grealish or Maddison, plus a striker and they are sorted.

He's was right that someone big was gonna screw up tonight, I sensed it too, but I knew that a team that even Birmingham beat in Europe (Brugge), were not gonna provide the same stern test as say a Greek team might, to an undercooked and struggling London team... oops.

The issue is 'alledgedly'. If proven throw the book at him, but it wasn't proven and was charged on the balance of probability. Strange that a certain player, a few years back, was proven and had a lesser ban?

In more important news the world fourth oldest football club has been saved from extinction (again!) Another charlatan took over the club and promised the earth before disappearing just before the Electric board and came and cut us off. Local legend Pete Whitehead agreed to run it and paid some of the bills himself but the fans had to raise £30k before the end of February to keep going.

The club announced last night that it had hit the amount after a great effort from fans and people like Chris Waddle, Jeff Stelling and Peter Crouch.

Worksop Town are saved and I’m off to see them at Stamford this afternoon.

Come on you 🐯 Tigers.
