I used to live in the next village over to the East (Houghton) when I was a wean. I started school there at the age of 5, but have only the faintest of memories of the actual village!

Armley up to 8 yrs, Rodley for my formative years, and two houses in Farsley just prior and just after getting married. On the way, passed by my old barracks at Thornbury. Still get down there quite regular, as my dad and my MIL still live in Farsley. And I know that you could do it on Google Earth anytime, but there's something nice about seeing some of your old haunts while passing through.
