A recorder, bontempi play by numbers keyboard and accoustic guitar a string broke on within a week with nothing but 20 year old guitar sheet music and no clue where to start. No music lessons for me. Attempt aged about 30 to learn guitar aborted when decided didnt have the fingers for it.

I would have loved aged 8 to have been sent to church to learn the guitar but atheist parents That keyboard could make a fair racket. I forgot the other Xmas present instrument of the 70s - electronic stylophone. That killed everything.

I always wanted one if those keyboards with the built in rhythms- bossanova etc. We had a piano though, so it was never even considered as a potential present.

I had a Stylophone too. As I was (more so then than now) fond of dabbling with electronics, I wired in a couple of extra controls to modify the Stylophone’s already weird sound. It gave me great pleasure but I’m not too sure that others were so pleased!

There’s a stylophone boxed in a chest in our bedroom upstairs! I never quite got the hang of it and since the demise of a certain Aussie artist, Well I think maybe I should just give it to the second hand shop, not sure why I’m hanging on to it!

I still have my Stylophone too. Yes, I remember that certain Aussie advertising it. I also had a Bontempi Organ as a child that had a series of chord buttons on the left hand side. It was very loud.
jelly I think that may be worth a few bob if it’s still boxed as well.

Late edition to our santas welcome jelly and thanks Em for helping with a reshuffle.
Jelly I’ve updated the spreadsheet to add you. Happy FSS’ing!!
I don’t think we can take any other latecomers so the finish line is drawn.
