Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Jealous of the Adnams selection SP!

Lol at the unique training session Dvorak.

Not real ale, but I'm enjoying a bottle of Guinness West Indies Porter. It really takes me back to living in Grenada and drinking the local Guinness product.

I see that Adnams Broadside is also in Sainsbury's at £2.00 a bottle or three for a fiver.

Never been a Guinness fan 57.5 DoP. I was never into ales once upon a time, so maybe one day...

I was drinking that Guinness West Indies Porter the other day, with a whisky, cigar, and a friend and a game of chess in the sun! A most excellent combination!

GWIP is excellent. So many "supermarket" bottled beers just taste of bottled beer pint

I didn't like Guinness until an infamous St Paddy's night in 1990 at the Irish Club in Leeds. Rugby fans might remember why I was celebrating...

The WIP is much more sweet and strong than the original SP, no doubt originally to survive the boat journey west. Has anyone drunk Malta, the sweet and sickly non-alcoholic version? That is an acquired taste!

GWIP is a lovely tipple. I went to Southwold a while back and left the Adnams shop with two crates of Broadside :)

Just having a couple of Fursty Ferrets to top off a nice Sunday.

Two pints of Ilkley Brewery Mary Jane last night. A very good "session" beer

A work colleague brought me back some Amazon Ale from their holiday to Brazil. Not a particularly strong brew with a mild peppery after taste.
