Congratulations OB.
Google kangaroo care and skin to skin, there's some studies that show skin to skin is very effective at regulating babies (and prem babies) temperatures, so cuddles might not be out of the question. I hope it settles soon.
It also works the other way too (as in can control fever if needed)

Also, I hope she can be out of the incubator soon. My tiny preemie twins were in theirs for a long time and I remember how hard it was not being able to cuddle them as much as I wanted, and being reliant on the nicu nurses to get them out of their incubators. Echoing Purps though: skin-to-skin cuddles would likely be really good for her, and for you too. I hope you get lots of cuddles today xx

Huge congrats that's exactly how I felt about both my babies. In fact it still feels weird typing that I have two kids. I kept looking round for a responsible adult (then realised I was the oldest mum on the ward by bloody years!) Hope you manage to get skin to skin time x

Many congratulations. Nearly 5 pounds is a very good weight for such an early baby.

We had a good two hours of skin to skin this morning I know on day 3 your milk comes in anyway but straight after the skin to skin I expressed twice as much as I had the previous time and I think it helped. Heidi has had a very good day. She has lost 4oz but is now keeping her feeds down and I think we'll be able to go home sometime this week.
