I expect that's so but it makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason so I always just talk about "the cake"
It was interesting to see the response from some of the mums of the recipients. A couple of the "can't cook; won't cook" types looked absolutely mystified by the whole idea.

It was a Herman cake the last time I did one - many years ago. Middle Loon came home with one the other day and he called it a friendship cake. I can certainly start another one up here, call it a Fetchie cake and pass it on to some local Fetchies.
