Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

We did leg two of the Gathering Winter Fools route today having had a light trot from the Busfeild to the start at the White Lion along the canal (about 7.5 miles) as a warm up. The ground is fairly moist across the top. Bloody brilliant

Ran round Standedge moor from Marsden this morning with the club - following Chris Goddard's suggested route in his W Y Moors book.

Fabulous morning out in the snow, although chilly over the Millstone Edge.

Yes and they get off the main paths, unlike other walking route pitched books. So perfect for fell running.

Lucky enough to be in the same club as Chris, so get the benefit of his knowledge plus all the challenges he puts together (such as short score events) :-)

I once had to disqualify him from an orienteering event as he jumped over an uncrossable fence on an urban event in Bingley (well, I was told to by the controller!)

We're having a club outing to run round the Auld Lang Syne route tomorrow (old habits die hard!) - hoping it's not *too* icy. Suspect the worst bit will the slabs up to Top Withins, but we'll go just off path to avoid them.

If it's really bad, we'll do the old alternative route to Top O'stairs and back down the Stoop.

Was going to suggest you could join us NE, but I've realised you're not in W York's, so technically not supposed to under the covid regs.
