...although Joe is still fighting really well to try & get something for Fetchaies from our Runners match.
The way Team points work on chess.com matches is a team win gets 5 points times the number of players, a tie gets 2 points times number of players, but team losses get nowt.

Angus you've set to vacation. Can I accept mr d or are you just on pause for 1 day?
How does vacation setting work on chess.com pls? Could I have accepted 1 day games and then if I can't play one night I just hit vacation? Are there limits to how long or how often?  G

Apologies to Div7 (well, JK & HG really), super-busy day sorting out a boat and cleaning the sailing club etc etc. All whilst divorced from wi-fi, phone signal and so on. Coupled with having to make lunches for schoolkids first thing this morning for the first time in I can't remember when....
G The vacation thing kicks in when I'm within an hour of timing out because I'm a premium member. Only used it once before but its happened twice in as many days this week. I don't know if there's any limits on how often or how long. I can tell you it's OK to use it 2 days on the fly

And to answer your question, I'm here but will be playing slowly over the weekend as we've finally been given permission to meet face-to-face again at Scouts so I'm leading a Scouts treasure hunt on Sunday (which I'm organising this evening and recceing tomorrow).
