Tawnies vocal here too. We think we might have heard one up on our roof while we were in bed recently :-)

Tawnies very vocal here too - I'm currently serenaded by owls as I go to sleep and by house martins as I wake up heart The last brood of martins are doing really well just above the bedroom window :-)

Green woodpeckers seem to be very lively right now too - heard more in the last couple of days than I have in the last couple of months.

I possibly heard (and on one occasion saw) two green woodpeckers in different places one day last week. I can probably count on one hand, maybe need two, the amount of times I've seen/heard them before, so it was something of a surprise.

Roberto

I know it’s not a bird. But after I told the bloke with the hide that it was too expensive, he did a discount for my and my partners grandfather so we went. And I am so glad I did. Such a beautiful creature. There was also a tawny owl very close to the hide that we could hear.

Saw plenty of sea eagles as well. Have a fab shot of a buzzard which I’ll get off my camera and upload. I wasn’t lucky enough to spot a golden eagle but had a fab week.

Congrats Roberto, I’m sure that the experience of capturing those shots was well worth whatever you paid!
