It's still pretty quiet around here, other than the dippers which are trilling away already heart

Fantastic views of fieldfare against the snow this afternoon - so much easier to see when everywhere is white!

Drive home last night had the highlight of a barn owl flying across the road ahead. Framed in the snow and headlights, it looked amazing.

Did a shift in an industrial port village and had a walk-around. Goldfinches, pied wagtail, grey wagtails, redwings, robin and blackbirds in local park and on streets.

Lovely day here, although very cold. Lots of enthusiastic “teacher-teacher” ing was a nice surprise.
Also drumming GSW somewhere close and a flutter of LTTs repeatedly visiting the feeder
