Lots of reports around tonight of folks who have seen it from the area above Strines. It's basically hanging out over the Derwent Watershed route.

Thanks for comments on the pics. Had a mate see the Lammergeier around Howden Moors this afternoon. He's a bit gutted as he didn't manage to get any shots and saw through bins only.

Little Owls just up the road :-)

Thought I saw one shoot across in front of me on a run on Thursday, and had it confirmed there's a new pair in residence by one of the locals. I feel a walk coming on.

Little Owl jealousy here. They have declined very badly round here in the last 20 years and now a very rare spot for me :-(
