I don't know of any, no, and I've never seen one here in the winter months (although I've heard them singing into October). It's Norfolk, and that can traditionally get quite cold in winter (although not this winter). I thought the overwintering birds were mainly on the south coast?

There are at least two chiffchaffs at Titchwell atm (saw them a couple of weeks ago) - I assume they are overwintering birds.

I've not seen any dippers in their usual spots since Hebden Bridge flooded :-(

They’ll be back Kinky. They’re like fish; they know where to go in times of flood

KinkyS, I didn't know about the Titchwell chiffchaffs. Maybe mine today was a lazy one which had hung around here over winter.

Lol J2R, as they're Dunnocks they probably identify with whichever gender increases their chance of a conquest!

We have at least one over wintering Chiffchaff here at Carsington Reservoir on the southern edge of the Peak District National Park that has been increasingly vocal in the last couple of weeks.

Two dunnock, two blackbirds and a blue tit in the garden this morning - that’s not too bad for us for a three minute watch 😂

Haven’t been to our local reserve for ages - it really suffers in wet weather and lots of the paths flood (impassably) to the hides... I think my binoculars are going rusty 😢

Kestrel on our walk this morning though, and plenty of woodpeckers drumming and a yaffle as well....

The dippers will be back Kinks 👍👍

"Real" Chiffchaff arrivals should be soon.
Nothing much seen lately but my usual Cettis singing well every day. Kingfisher calling as it flew down river this morning.
