Flying ant day here, cue hordes of herring gulls and lesser black backed gulls going mental over them. I think it must be the gull equivalent of a party drug.

Been watching the skies, couple of distant swifts, a few housemartins and that about it. Suddenly loads of gulls flying backwards and forwards in all directions. What are they up to?

Massive pigeon decided to fly into the conservatory today - made a change from 'into the window', but took time to catch.
Was amazed how quickly it just relaxed once I'd got both hands round it's wings & body & just let me carry it out with no struggling.

There are swifts, martins and swallows here :)

The skylarks seem to have a different "accent" to the ones at home!
