Had me looking, but I guess ours have gone too, always makes me sad. Still plenty of housemartins around and a few swallows.

Very vocal tawny owl last night seemingly in our back garden (it was dark and I couldn’t see it)

Lots of swallows swirling around and then settling on a barn roof yesterday, I think they were all the families that had bred there this year.

Conwy parkrun this morning, coming back from Deganwy about 20 swifts, maybe last feed before heading out? Also saw loads of butterflies along the coast on yesterday's run, since learnt that they are part of the painted ladies influx, lovely to see.

I’ve just stated taking an interest in butterflies having never looked at them properly before. Hoping to see a painted lady soon while there’s chance

there has been a mini influx of painted ladies here in the west country. not the deluge that some people suggested was heading over the channel, but definitely quite common at the moment.
