Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sadly no. They keep being reported within a couple of miles of here but it's always small numbers passing through.

I saw one, once, about 4 years ago. It flew into the garden, stopped for about 19 seconds, then flew off again.
We had a report of them nearby a few weeks ago, but nothing since.

£25 for a pair of "bins" bonners! I like it!! These days there are binoculars that creep to near the £1000 mark...mine are Barr & Stroud which cost £100 on offer and I thought I was pushing the boat out then. How the style of binoculars has changed too over the years--my B&S ones (8x45) are so much lighter and with much better image than my Carl Zeiss (10x50) and which I wonder how on earth I kept them steady during all the years I used them!
Ordinary things on my trail run--Heron (2) Buzzard, titmice all over the place, Mute Swan (18). In the garden-Goldcrest, LT Tit. No Coal Tits for a while.

Pleased with them Steve. Dont get me wrong, when I've been on nature talks at the RSPB, their binoculars and scopes are far, far superior to mine (and these are similar to my last pair), but they are good enough for me to be out there spotting stuff until I can afford something better.
